Resonate is a fast paced undersea rail shooter released by Hardhat.

This was one of the contest entries for the PSP-Hacks Homebrew Idol in 2008.

Features - 5 hero forms: Zooplankton, Sea Urchin, Seahorse, Stingray, Thresher Shark. - High score tracking for each game. - Enemies in various attack formations. - 3 types of power ups. - Level editor for Windows, Linux or MacOS based on fltk and OpenGL.

Installation On Custom Firmwares 3.xx (such as m33 or OE firmwares): Copy the resonate folder into ms0:/PSP/GAME/. The src folder is only needed to modify the game.

User guide Your goal is to evolve into a thresher shark and become king of the ocean.

- On normal difficulty, you start as a Sea Urchin (Level 2). - Hit the blue striped targets to collect evolution up. - Collect eight and move up a level to Sea Horse (Level 3). - Miss a target that collides with you and move down to Zooplankton (Level 1).

If you're hit too many times, the adventure ends and you need to try again.

Combos: If more than one enemy is targeted at once, then there is a scoring bonus of 25% for each enemy targeted. A maximum of 8 enemies can be targeted at a time.

Heads Up Display: At the top right, is the score for the level. On the bottom right is the chaos ammo count, and the chaos timer. On the bottom left is the evolution meter. Collect 8 evolution ups to level up to the next evolutionary form.
