Quick-Remounter is a tool created by AntHJ for the PlayStation Vita, primarily for two purposes:

  • To provide an easy way to remove the YAMT plugin and replace it with the StorageMGR plugin.
  • To serve as a simple storage to UX0 mount tool.

The main reason for creating this tool is to address compatibility issues that some systems, USBs, and SDs may have with the YAMT plugin. In such cases, it is recommended to replace YAMT with StorageMGR to prevent random system crashes after coming out of sleep/standby .

Using Quick Remounter will not cause you to lose any apps or games, nor will it delete or format your device. If you experience any missing apps or games, it could be due to several factors, such as selecting the wrong storage device, being spoofed to the latest firmware version, having a non-genuine SD card, improper formatting or setup, faulty adapter/cable/device, or missing required plugins.

To use Quick Remounter

  1. Install the tool.
  2. Run the tool, and if you have the YAMT plugin, you will see a notice.

  1. Select to continue, and you will be asked which storage device you would like to set as the primary UX0/Boot.

  1. Choose the appropriate storage device (usually X - SD2VITA), and the tool will remove YAMT (if found) and install StorageMGR. The system will then reboot.
  2. If you are swapping from YAMT to StorageMGR, you won't notice any differences other than YAMT no longer being present in the device settings. If you are remounting your storage from a previous setup, you should see the database rebuild window.

If you need to manually change your storage allocations, you can use Autoplugin2 (Vita plugins, SD2Vita setup).
