Metroid: Other M Redux is a reimagining of the classic Wii game, Metroid: Other M. The game has been remastered using the Maxximum Edition hack, which adds a host of new features and improvements. Instructions for loading Metroid: Other M Redux
Riivolution Method
- Requires: Wii, Wii U, or Dolphin emulator with Riivolution support, copy of Metroid: Other M
- Extract the "Other M Redux" folder into "Documents/Dolphin Emulator/Load".
- Copy the "[Riivolution] Other M Redux.xml" file into "Documents/Dolphin Emulator/Riivolution".
- Load the XML in Dolphin by right-clicking on Other M, select "Start with Riivolution patches", then "Open Riivolution XML" and select the XML file.
- Toggle options from "Disabled" to "Other M Redux".
- Maxximum OST is optional, only enable if desired.
Creating A New ISO
- Requires: Wii Backup Fusion, copy of Metroid: Other M
- Dump the ISO from the Wii or Wii U.
- Copy the ISO to PC and open in Wii Backup Fusion.
- Replace files in the ISO with those from "Other M Redux" folder.
- Transfer to image in Wii Backup Fusion, choose ISO or WBFS.
- Play on Dolphin or console.
