mkey is a master key generator designed for the Parental Controls feature on various gaming consoles from a specific vendor, currently including the Wii, DSi, 3DS, Wii U, and Switch.
This tool allows users to reset Parental Controls when locked out, without having to contact customer support.
Note: A more up to date version is available at mkey.eiphax.tech (for 3DS/Switch users).
User guide
Go to the Parental Controls menu on the WIi U, Tap on the "I forgot" button twice.
On you PC, go to https://mkey.salthax.org/
- Device type - Wii U.
- System date - Current system date of the console.
- Additional data - Leave the field empty.
- Inquiry number - Enter the Enquiry number displayed on the Wii U's Parental Controls screen.
Press the Go button on the website to generate the master key.
On the Wii U, tab the Next button, then enter the master key. Press OK.
You should then be able to change the Parental Controls Settings (tap Delete All Settings to remove the Parental Controls).
