Kolmena (Spanish) is an adaptation of the board game Hive to the Nintendo DS, in which 2 players face off in on the same console to test their strategy and skill to protecting their Queen Bee, while cornering the opponent's with an army of insects.

It was presented in the Scenery Beta 2011.

User guide

The goal is to protect your bee queen.

The game rules are detailed within the game itself and are based almost 99% on the Hive rules, with the only differences that due to technical issues the playing area is limited to 60 squares (in Hive there are no limits); and Beetles are not allowed to ride on other beetles.

Depending on the level, the game would last 2 to 8 minutes, or lengthened to 15 minutes or more in extreme cases.

Start - Show/hide info

Select - Reset board

Stylus - Move tabs
