Description
This patch will bring you the ability to enjoy the Japanese edition of "Chibi-Robo! (New Play Control)" for Wii in English. No matter if you have the retail disc or an ISO, this patch will allow you to translate the game's text and audio into English. The process is straightforward and easy to follow, as a comprehensive tutorial has been included in the "README FIRST" PDF file.
Installation - Patch Disc With Riivolution
To use Riivolution, you'll need a Wii console, a physical copy of the game, and an SD card.
- Extract the contents of the "SD Card" folder from the zip file and place them in the root of your SD card.
- This will give you four folders: "apps" which contains the Riivolution homebrew, "CHIBI_eng" which has the files to replace those on your disc, "codes" which holds the Gecko codes for accessing debug rooms and unused dialogs, and "riivolution" which has the necessary "xml" file for the software to know where to patch files.
- Insert the SD card into the Wii, turn it on, and put the game in.
- Open Riivolution from the Homebrew Channel or from the forwarder channel on your Wii menu.
- On the following screen, you can activate the English translation by clicking "launch" and the game will automatically be translated.
