This is a modified version of Yuki-mi's AdhocToUSB plugin that allows you to play Ad Hoc enabled games over the Internet using XLink Kai without the need for a PC wireless adaptor.

Ths plugin is improved by neur0n to add support for Custom Firmwares 5.xx and 6.xx.

Installation Please use the prx file according to the Firmware version of your PSP: - Folder 620 is for users running Custom Firmware 6.20 or prior. - Folder 635 is for users running 6.37 ME-6Fix2, 6.38 ME, 6.39 ME and 6.60 ME/PRO.

All the other files needed to make the plugin work is in the following archives: - AdhocToUSB620v2ALLFILES.zip - AdhocToUSB635v2ALLFILES.zip

You will need the followings, all associated programs are included in the zip archive: - Windows XP/Vsita/7 (32/64bit). - Xlink Kai 7.4.18 (http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/) and XTag account. - CFW PSP (Please refer to the below compatible list). - PSP USB Cable (Recommend USB2.0). - AdhocToUSB plugin. - WinPcap. - Drivers PSP Type B.

Follow these steps to install the plugin to your PSP: Put AdhocToUSB.prx in ms0:/seplugins/ (or ef0:/seplugins/ for PSP Go users).

Add the following line to game.txt in ms0:/seplugins/ (create the text file if you do not have it) ms0:/seplugins/AdhocToUSB.prx 1

For PSP Go users, add the following line instead to the text file ef0:/seplugins/AdhocToUsb.prx 1

Note: If you use any usbhostfs or RemoteJoy plugin, please disable them.

A rundown of how to set up on your PC: Install WinPcap (http://www.winpcap.org/install/default.htm).

Install Microsoft Loopback Adapter (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/839013/en). - In the case of Vista/7, run program then type hdwwiz. Reboot after installation is completed.

Install Xlink Kai 7.4.18 and configure settings. - Adapter is MS LoopBack Driver or Microsoft LoopBack Driver.

If PSP Type B is not installed, start the game and install after USB connection. - Case of 7/Vista 64bit, disable Driver Signature Enforcement. - Case of 64bit, you will need PSP type B for 64bit.

Reboot PC once everything is completed.

User guide How to use: Run Xlink Kai. Run Game. Run bridge.exe, select 0:MultiThread and MS LoopBack Driver. Connect USB. Play Communication Game.

Trouble Shooting: If Microsoft Loopback Adapter install and problem occurs, try following. - Please lower the binding order of Microsoft Loopback Adapter (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894564/en). - Open Microsoft Loopback Adapter property, uncheck all netowork component.

If usb_bulk_write() failed. timeout error is displayed on bridge.exe, then it's likely to be because you are using USB1.1.
