I wasn't happy with how my menu system worked so I redid the whole thing, now I can have multi/nested menus and I modularized a bunch of functions so scripting scenes is now a ton easier, but in doing so I had to go back and re-script existing scenes. I fleshed out all the menus in the player's bedroom. If you want to skip the opening sequence and check it out, you can hit X at any time to jump to that scene. I'm really happy with the state of the engine now and can work on fleshing out the story and adding actual gameplay.

Every sprite is a temporary placeholder, so if you see a character from another game, that means I haven't paid the artist to do the preliminary sketches for them yet. The background art isn't likely to change, it just real photos with a colorful filter added over to make them blend better with the cartoony style art!

Plot Summary:

You return to your hometown for 1 week after being away for over 10 years, everything seems the same; the people, the places, but there may be going on in your sleepy little hometown than you think! Every action you take advances the clock, will you spend your week relaxing and reminiscing with old friends? Or will you discover an underhanded plot over decade in the making?

You can choose your main character, a male wolf or a female fox (with two more options planned). All the relationships in the game are LGBT friendly with the exception of 2 residents, and every main character will have unique "special scenes" with the towns inhabitants. Talking and searching around may yield clues as to people's whereabouts which will be key in pursuing relationships and discovering events. This game will feature multiple endings, and your decisions will actually impact the game in major ways, hopefully giving the game a lot of replay-ability.

We are working with Oli_Snowpaw for sprites and scene art and Xavier for some of the story/scenes. This game will come in a Teen/Mature version and will have an Adults Only patch for anyone over 18+ (which may need to be downloaded separately).

We don't currently have a music producer so we may end up using stock/public licensed music, but all the art and characters will be original. Most of the engine is written already and we are in the scripting/story-line phase, we even have a playable "demo" available!
