Mod for Dragon Quest XI S Demo to raise FPS cap to 60.
This was archived by disabling exefs reading nvn.SyncInterval from configs. This approach allows for 60 FPS without configs or adding a large pak file to SD card.
If it can't get 60 FPS, it drops to 30.
Installation
This patch is available in 2 versions:
- DQXISD-60FPS.zip is for Western release.
- DQXISD-60FPS-Jap.zip is for Japanese release.
Put folder exefs_patches to:
- Atmosphere
/atmosphere/ - ReiNX
/reinx/
Then restart Switch.
This will only work with titleid 010026800EA0A000 and may not work with updated version of demo.
User guide
Recommended OC settings with sys-clk:
handheld_charging_official_cpu=1785 handheld_charging_official_gpu=921 handheld_charging_official_mem=1600
Game needs every Hz possible, so go with max. GPU >768 Mhz is needed for distant views, CPU >1224 is needed for less issues with framepacing.
Decide for yourself what you want to sacrifice if you don't want to go that high.
