The aim of the game is to survive as long as you can in a dangerous asteroid field.

Power-up items:
===Menu options===
Red - Increase the laser one level (return to level 1 if the meter runs out).
* Start - Begins the game.
Green - Shield.
* Instructions - Explains how to play.
Blue - Score multiplier.
* Profile - Lets you view your user profile.
* Upload scores - Lets you upload your highscore and see how you rank worldwide.
* Credits - Displays the credits.


Player can also take screenshot and it will be saved in /PSP/GAME(or GAME150)/__SCE__SpaceEscape/Screenshots/.
===The Hud===
* Once you're in the game you will notice two bars, one on each side of the screen.
* The bar on the left is your laser charge, the bar on your right is your shield charge.
