There's just one level with a main menu to demonstrate the coding quality. This project focuses on game design and incorporates demo effects into the game, including the intro part, main menu, start level, pause mode, game over, and congratulations screen. The demo parts are memory-efficient, with the star intro using only a 4K code size, and graphics are calculated in real-time. To overcome graphics difficulties, 3D-calculated objects are utilized and arranged using a simple and efficient packing method. A cursor interface is also implemented for the main menu and subparts. The game engine in this project differs in how it handles palettes reloading, animated backgrounds, and big animated explosions. A lot of effort was put into providing good playability and delivering a visually impressive experience. Mig-21 was released for Bung Enterprises 3rd Gameboy Coding Competition (3rd place). ==User guide== After launching the game, you will be greeted with Fatality's firm intro, followed by the scene intro displaying game credits and information. You can skip the intro by pressing any key while it decrunches, or simply push the Start key during the intro. Use D-Pad and A button to select menu item. First, you need visit to aeroshop to buy at least one life. You can also buy some weapon if you have enough money. Remember that you can sell your weapon for price lower than original. Select arrow pics to next/previous item and back to return to main menu. Then you can start game. During the game, your objective is to destroy air-, sea- and land targets to clear the level and to earn maximum cash.
