Still Alive is a 2d portal homebrew inspired by Portal The Flash Version, combining platforming, first person shooting, and physics based puzzle solving.

It was ranked 1st in the NEO Summer Coding Compo 2008. It was voted the 6th Top DS homebrew in the 2009 best DS homebrew contest.

The objective of the game is similar to 3D counterpart, which is to make your way to the level's exit by using your portal gun, and occasionally jumping. Although to make the game more challenging, in order to complete the room, you must collect pieces of cake before the exit will become active.

The stylus is used to aim the gun at either portal compatible surfaces (non-compatible surfaces are clearly marked with black and yellow), or at movable objects.

The layout of the controls feel very natural, and are easy to master, so you'll be jumping about and firing portals in no time.
