KnightmareDS is a port of the game Knightmare was originally released by Konami on MSX.

User guide

In this game, you play as the Knight Popolon, determined to save his sweetheart held captive by horrible bloodthirsty monsters. With this game, Konami did not skimp on innovations with its boxes containing bonuses, an idea taken up some time later by our friends at Nintendo for the adventures of a plumber named Mario.

Modifications compared to the original game:

  • The bonus boxes break from the first attempt.
  • The waves of monsters do not appear at the same time as on the original.
