It is a clone of Stepmania. It emulates simulators for recreational dances, which have to touch the arrows indicate to you the music.
Player can create own levels with a level creator, which can add any song. Homebrew also has the ability to update via WiFi.
Installation
- Download and extract file
- DLDI patch FMDS Step Maker.nds and copy it to the root directory of the card
Optional: Place mp3 that you want to make steps for on root of card and make sure its bit rate is 90 or less and the file is renamed to "test.mp3" with no quotes.
User guide
The homebrew only includes one song, but can create more levels by following steps:
- Create the sequence of arrows in the Level Builder.
- Rename the file. FMDs that forms the name of the song. Mp3
- Copy the file. FMDs and. Mp3 to the \ FMDs \ songs.
Controls
In Game:
- Stylus - choose options (menu), arrows (in game).
- D-pad or ABXY - arrows
- A - select song (in menu), arrows
Customize levels:
- Stylus - set and clear the arrow, play song
- Up - move up the score
- Down - move the score down
- L - set the arrows
- R - changing screens
- Start - clear score
- Select - load score

Max steps allowed to place is 950 not sure if people will use that much.
