===Samba shares===
Old SAMBA library has been replaced. You should now have more luck connecting to your SAMBA shares (including a NAS). Especially shares with passwords which never worked under the old code.

Renamed Enter Samba Share Name to Enter Root Samba Share Name since it acts more as a shortcut now that you can Browse SMB shares. Samba Server Name doesn't really serve any purpose at the moment.

SMB shares can now be browsed. As a result how you use Samba shares has changed slightly, try these steps:
*Clear out your Samba Share Name.
*Use either the ROM browser or the Change default directories to browse to your share (press Y until you see the drive list and select SMB:\\).
*If it doesn't work, try it again a couple times. For some silly reason sometimes it times out.
*If the emu thinks your share needs a password a window will pop-up asking you if you want to enter in a username and password. Enter it as username:password.
*As a result of this change you can set all your definable directories to any share with any password.

If for some reason browsing doesn't work, try entering your Samba server name in the Enter Root Samba Share Name under Network/Netplay Options. Format is "smb://servername_or_ip/sharename" or "smb://username:password@servername_or_ip/sharename". If the share is password protected. Browsing once within a share is much more reliable.

If you enter anything into the Root Samba Share Name, then you are stuck with that and can't use other servers for media streaming, unless they are on a Relax share.

If using Enter Root Samba Share Name works, you might want to consider deleting your emu_name.ini file in the SAVES directory.

Some suggestions if you decide to stream stuff over the network.
*Try splitting the workload. Setup a Relax and Samba share (or even seperate servers) and divy up the workload. They both have seperate caches so it's more efficient.
*Roms, Screenshots, Box/Cart art, Manuals, Commercials, preview movies and the like are great candidates for streaming.
*If you do stream Screenshots and Box/Cart art set the timers a little higher and not the same. For example 5 seconds on screenshots, 10 on Box/Cart art. Or just set them to 0 (manual advance).

Streaming movies really depends on how good of a network you have For example streaming movies over a wireless network isn't gonna be so hot. Although relax seems faster, that may have changed with the new SMB code. You might also wanna consider bumping up the movie delay a couple seconds (only applies if Movie Streaming Style is set to Copy Then Play (slower?)). Pseudo streaming does not have this limitation.

An example of how to set up:
*Screenshots and Box/Cart art on the xbox 5/10 sec delay respectivaly (or 0).
*ROMS, GameFaqs, VGMaps, etc on a Samba share to NAS, as well as all of the commercials and manuals.
*Movies on NAS using samba and pseudo streaming.

The possibilities are endless. Experimentation is worthwhile. Or you could just slap a super big hard drive in your Xbox.

==Changelog==
'''v6b6'''
* Updated to madmab edition interface CFv1b19. See "Interface Changelog.txt".
* Added 6 new software filters from GensX and 2 from NeoGeo CD emulator (see interface changelog for more details).
* Based on user feedback removed the following software filters 2xSai Scanline, 4xSai Scanline, Super 2xSai Scanline, Super 4xSai Scanline, Eagle 2x Scanline, Eagle 4x Scanline, Super Eagle2x Scanline, Super Eagle4x Scanline.
* Fixed issue where FPS stop displaying after playing your first game.

'''v6b5'''
*Updated to madmab edition interface CFv1b17. This is currently beta.

'''v6b4'''
*Updated to madmab edition interface CFv1b14. This is currently beta.

'''v6b3'''
*Updated to madmab edition interface CFv1b08. This is currently beta.

Changes To AdamX Core:
* Added in support for MegaCart games (Pac-man Collection and Mario Bros come to mind).
*Added in support for "SGM Memory Extension". New option added in game configuration. Set it to "Yes" for games that need it.
* Game selectable video mode removed and change to a global game video mode. So you can use the interface (game select) at 720p or 1080i and have games run in another video mode. "In Game Menu" video mode will match the one the game is set for except for the media browser which will change to match the video mode used outside of the game.

Interface Related Changes:
* Fixed an issue where changing the "Samba Nameserver" would also ask you for the "Relax Share Name" when you were done.
* Improved game preview network streaming. I like to call it "pseudo-streaming" so streaming game previews off a network should be ALOT smoother now.
* "Pseudo Streaming" defaults to off. So if you want to turn it on go into "Screenshot/Movie Preview Settings" and turn it on. I'm doing this until I get more feedback concerning the performance of it.
* Removed pop-up that says "Select The Cheatcode File You Wish To Use." per Dominater01's request.
* The two Preset Controller menu options have been moved to the "controller configuration" menu. I did this cause several emu's use this feature now and to help reduce clutter in the in-game menu.
* Fixed blank pop-up message when trying to display the cheat codes when there are none.
* Fixed issues where media would not display when a directory with a period in it was highlighted.
* Added option to "Refresh DVD Drive". It is currently in the "Utilities Menu"
* Finally added option to "Shutdown Xbox". It is currently in the "Main Menu" however I have my reservations about it's location. I'd prefer to have it in the "Utilities Menu". You can disable this menu in the "Dummy/Lockdown Mode Settings" menu.
* Partial >4096 file support put in. If you have more than 4096 title or action shots put them in a directory named "action01" and "titles01".
* Checks put into the cheatcode database checker to let you know if the file is to big or has too many game entries and needs to be split up.
* Gilou9999's HD Colour skins should work properly now (no weird hacks). Be sure to at least copy over the "settings.ini" files in the skin directory and the skin "configurations" directories to your "saves" direcgtory and "reload the skin".
* Added new skin transition option "none". Real handy for skins like Gilou9999's that uses the HD sprite trick.
* Windows 7 users should have no more weird issues on samba shares. Woohoo.
* Fixed issue where emulator menu video mode was reverting to last played games video mode in emu's that support game specific video modes.
* Added in a feature "Sprites Used As Background? Yes/No" to allow the use of "sprites" as the background. Setting this to "Yes" allows the game screenshot to be seen in the IGM as well as the savestate screenshots in the select state menu. However skin designers keep in mind the more memory your skin uses the less room that leaves for me to add new features. Things are tight enough as it is.
* Fixed an issue where the synopsis was not always displaying for an unzipped file.
* Fixed a weird issue where if you are missing the "Title" or "Action" directory/picture for a game it would not be displayed correctly in the gameselect or favorites screen.
* Synopsis screen transition now works like it is supposed to.
* Fixed an issue where the preset controller settings were not saved properly (sorry guys). This only affected certain emus with preset controller definitions.
* Synopsis code completely rewritten to support the new synopsis format. Old synopsis.txt file is now officially defunct.
* Another new option "Use Default Emu Filter?". This will apply a preset filter custom designed for each emu core. It is also used internally by the synopsis code so user interaction is not required in some cases (like when a .zip file contains NFO or text file).
* modified L/R file scrolling so it doesnt kick off the movie so quickly. Hopefully this will fix interference from movies being accessed from a samba or relax share.
* Fixed long standing issue with "Autoload last savestate" where it could potentially pick the wrong savestate. Of course it also helps to make sure your xbox date is set correctly.
* Now have the ability to display long names for games. This currently relies on having Xtras named ROM files. In the future I will be providing other options.
* Fixed issue where emu would lock up if the media directory path was longer that 36 characters (Thanks to those who reported it and AMOC for testing for me).
* Fixed issue where emulator would lock up in favorites menu if you start removing games from the bottom up .. (Thanks to hyper_eye for reporting this).
* Fixed issue with wacky numbers when trying to adjust the volumes while in the IGM.
* Fixed issue where Popup msg window was messing up transitions.
* Screen size and position settings werent always being restored properly this primarily affected emu's that use preset controllers and in particular games defined as using a particular preset controller.
* Set Game Screen Size/Position now has the same options as "Override Game Screen Size (Global)". So you can use these when setting Game Screen Size position in game or from the main menu.
* Tweaked the synopsis word wrap so the left/right margins are a little more even.
* Fixed Screenblur when displaying on screen keyboard. For good this time (For emu's that use it).
* Modified many menus so while in IGM only relevant menu's are displayed (Too many to mention).
* New filename sort code. Filenames should sort properly. No more need to add a I, II, or III to filenames to get them to sort right.
* Fixed bug where viewing the synopsis in the in-game menu, and then going back to the favorites list could cause a crash.
* New Dummy/Lockdown Mode Settings.. see below for more information.
* Now only displays valid available video modes (set in dash) in the "Video Mode" select screen.
* "Lock Game Screen Size For All Games" added. Options are "Full screen" (+/- 20 or so on top/bottom/left/right of screen), "Size To Fit (Keep Aspect Ratio)", "Accurate Screen Pixel Ratio", "Custom Size".
* The interface now keeps track of all screen size settings for all video modes. This is for all individual games. It will also auto adjust the size for all video modes if "Override Game Screen" is activated in some form. This also opens up the possibility of allowing different video modes for different games.
* Minimum sound volume bumped up to something more reasonable. That way if you do accidently lower the volume it wont take as long to get it back.
* Media browser will properly back out now if you are in a ZIP file and press B to exit out.
* Numerous fixes to prevent controller button presses from making their way back to the game when you are done (still needs some work)
* Fixed lockup when viewing a certain number of FAQs or the same FAQ several times. Stupid me forgot to dealloc the buffer after exiting.
* Fixed lockup that would occur when you tried to edit an action replay cheat code.
* Fixed problem where you could get stuck in the media browser and not get out (happened when you had media browser mapped to a controller button)
* Remove all the annoying questions when you switch to 480p and higher video modes. X-port code has detected and auto switched to lower resolutions for some time now. If someone could verify this for me just to be sure.
* Modified the media browser so that when viewing images (e.g. manuals or maps) that it will try reverting to 480p in order to view the manual if it will not load if you are at 720p or higher.
* Synopsis now displays properly in the "In game menu".
* Controller presses are cleared on savestate load/save that way nothing will accidently happen when you go back to the game (used for show savestate screen = yes).
* Loop movies option (Yes/No) added.
* Fixed issue with wrong screen coming up when "Always display save state menu" is set to yes.
* Code for "action lists" mostly done.
* Improved the screenshot, box/cart art, and movie streaming to make browsing games a little smoother.
* Fixed a long standing bug in the favorites system. This one goes waaaaay back. (Thanks to Hyper_Eye for reporting it).
* Emulators should now work with 1.6 Xbox's super big thanks to FreakDave. 1.6 users let me know how this works for you.
* Fixed a problem where the media directory selected by the user replaced the wrong media directory. Again. Double Doi on me.
* Fixed the problem where the wrong synopsis description was showing when selecting a game in the favorites menu.
* Fixed odd bug where the opening movie and movies played full screen in the media browser would not display properly at 1080i.
* Fixed a couple goofs that prevented loading ROMS over a samba share.
* "Ask Before Moving To Garbage Dir?" now has a new option.. "Never Move". So "Yes" will ask before moving the selected file to the Garbage folder. "No" will just move the file and "Never Move" won't move the file at all.
* Pick -1 on "Seconds before playing movie" to set to 0 seconds. 0 will equal half a second.. 1 one second, and so on.
* User can now select which "cheat code database" they wan't to load since it seemed silly to mix the many AR and GG codes into one file for Snes9xbox. Filename must end with the characters "codelist.inf". e.g. AR_codelist.inf, GG_codelist.inf.
* Select file function now has an option to not display directories. First menu to use this is the cheat code database select screen.
* Pressing the back key while viewing a games synopsis will toggle between a fixed font and the skin's proportional font.
* Fixed long standing bug of YesNo Menu pop-up graphic not centering properly.
* Dummy/Lockdown Mode Settings.
* In Game mapping useage prevention.
* New SAMBA code.

==Credits==
Special thanks:
*X-port for porting a great collection of emu's over to the xbox, releasing the source code, and answering my questions.
*Atariage (Albert in particular) - For providing a place for me to ramble on. For encouragement in general.
*Wimpy & Perr - For providing me even a better place for me to ramble on.
*Wimpy for all the cool online synopsis tools and for listening to my requests for features. Hopefully some good stuff will be coming in the future.
*Surreal CE team - Just because they are cool.
*Gilou9999 for new COLOUR SD and HDTV skins, synopsis, suggestions, rumble codes, etc.
*Cospefogo for the onscreen keyboard used by AdamX. Frank Morris for fixing the minor spelling error in the onscreen keyboard.
*jamahowal for some neat Adam images.
*Guybird for the "Button List" concept/idea and waal for the "Popup Action List" idea.
*Shout out to Hyper_Eye, SPPV, hcf, A600, Destronger, +T+, Neobomb, incrediclint, Surreal CE team and all those who are honourable and keep the xbox-scene alive.
The original [[LCS_CheatDevice_PSP|CheatDevice by Edison Carter]] was one of the first homebrews ever to run on Firmwares 2.01, 2.5 and 2.6. It had a big fan base and lots of functionality added over time. Sadly the Liberty City version wasn't updated and thus missing out on fixes after [[VCS_CheatDevice_PSP|Vice City Stories' release etc]].

CheatDevice Remastered is a complete remake of the original project created from ground up, it is one plugin for both Stories Games now and compatible with all versions (excluding the Japanese releases).

Aside from the author's own discoveries re-creating everything, lots of functions that were previously only available via UserCheats were added as default ones. Due to all these new options, categories were added as well as the menu adjusted to scroll instead of using pages.

==Features==
*Improvements to the original:
**Now works with all game versions (except JP).
**Now works with High Memory Layout & other plugins.
**Navigating the menu will not affect game controls.
**Now utilizing the games fonts & blocking UI elements.
**Getting names & texts directly from memory.
**Expanded & enhanced HexEditor.
**No more menu flickering.
**Lots of fixes & improvements.
*New Features:
**Skipable Intro Movies.
**Character Model swapping.
**Completely disable traffic and pedestrians.
**FreeCamera.
**Map & MiniMap options.
**Speed'O'meter.
**Makes German version uncut again.
**Pickup & Vehicle spawner.
**Real random loadscreens.
**Advanced Editors for stats, settings etc.
**UserScripts.

==Installation==
Copy the whole cheatdevice_remastered folder to ux0:pspemu/PSP/PLUGINS/.

Move cheatdevice_remastered.prx to ux0:pspemu/seplugins/ folder.

Edit /seplugins/game.txt file (create it if not already there) and add the line

ms0:/seplugins/cheatdevice_remastered.prx 1

(If you are using the [[GTA Native Resolution Patch Vita|native resolution patch]] by TheFloW, make sure to load the CheatDevice first by placing gta_native.prx line AFTER this one.)

In the VSH-menu enable 333Mhz in Game-mode for a smoother experience.

'''Note:''' There is a second "lite" plugin for casual cheaters which is missing advanced features like Editors, Freecam, UserScripts etc for slightly better performance.

==User guide==
===How to use===
When booting the game it will take a little longer to start as that's where all the magic happens.

Once in-game, just like with the original, the menu can be opened and closed by pressing L+Up.

And when saving your cheat preferences from the menu a config file will be created which automatically re-loads everything the next time you start the game.

===Best Experience===
Although this plugin is designed to work with all game versions, models and settings the following setup will grant you the best experience possible.

Vita OLED model + [[Adrenaline Vita|Adrenaline eCFW]] + [[RemasteredControls Vita|GTA Remastered prx]] + [[GTA Native Resolution Patch Vita|GTANativeRes prx]] + High Memory Layout + 333mhz Game clock + 60 FPS Cheat.

For PPSSPP it is highly recommended to install the [https://github.com/Freakler/ppsspp-GTARemastered/releases right analog stick camera control plugin] as well (alternatively use: [https://gtaforums.com/topic/905739-psp-right-analog-stick-control-cwcheat/ LCS] & [https://gtaforums.com/topic/911196-right-analog-stick-patchppsspp/ VCS]).

===UserScripts===
You can create basic UserScripts saved in plain text which currently is the next best thing to the original UserCheats.

Everything from simply changing the weather to creating whole new missions is possible.

More info on script programming and samples can be found in /cheatdevice_remastered/SCRIPTS/.

==Controls==
<youtube>gFepzOWqqX8</youtube>

==Compatibility==
All versions of the game (except the Japanese releases) are supported. As a bonus the German versions will be patched back uncut again.

Tested and working on selected PSP CFWs as well as on [[Adrenaline Vita|Adrenaline eCFW]] for Vita and PPSSPP v1.12.3.

PPSSPP is like 98% compatible right now. There might be more issues due to the emulation however.

This will not work with mobile versions.

==Known issues==
*Resetting water level in VCS keeps lower areas flooded (backup/reload needed).
WiiMC-SS is a modified version of the popular media player, [[WiiMC]], which offers enhanced functionality and new features.

==Features==
* Supports cover art embedded in MP3, MP4 (AAC, ALAC), FLAC, OGG, WMA, and AIFF files.
* Dynamically updates cover art from Tunein, Yggdrasil Radio, and ANISON.FM.
* 720x480p tiled rendering depending on video size.
* Provides perfect sync in 29.97/30 fps videos in 480i/p modes.
* Offers sync options for interlaced videos (MKV elements and DVD Videos).
* Subtitles are always based on DAR instead of SAR.
* Supports GameCube controller.
* Improved handling of game formats ADX and BRSTM.
* Features various options such as 240p mode, night filter, volnorm, deflicker, etc.
* Uses ".dash" extension to skip the deblock filter in H.264 and VP8 files.
* Includes Shuffle, Loop, and Continuous modes for video playback.
* Artwork Viewer for videos and music with support for external files.
* Wii Message Board playlog support when launched from a Channel.
* Changing themes now requires arguments to be passed.
* "Force IOS" argument allows for using a different USB module with IOS202.
* Automatically reconnects to radio streams after a minute if a failure is detected.
* Removed photo viewer, BMP/GIF, NTFS, and several codecs to reduce memory usage.

==User guide==
Below are some of the notable new features/changes over [[WiiMC]].

===Enabled ADX audio decoding===
Encrypted ADX files such as the ones in NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams are not supported, but can be fixed by first using an external decryption tool, afterwards it will play correctly.

===GameCube controller support===
Every button from the Wii Remote is currently mapped.

Please note: there are still some things that require the pointer.

===Option to disable the H.264 deblock filter on a per video basis===
To disable simply change the extension of your video to ".dash".

Disabling this increases decoding speed a lot, but decreases visual quality, usually if the video has sufficient bitrate it will look fine.

The discontinued stream services on Wii (Netflix, Amazon, Crunchyroll, etc.) would make use of this to increase decoding speed. A global override option is also available.

===Video shuffle modes===
Choose from Through, Loop, Shuffle, and Continuous.

===Artwork Viewer for Video and Music modes===
Place artwork files on the same directory as the video or audio file, sharing the same filename.
*Song 01.brstm
*Song 01.jpg
*Note: Currently it looks for a .jpg extension, but you can use PNG files as well.

To load descriptions and year/run time info:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<file app="WiiMC" version="1.3.8">
<image number="5"
year="2000 - 1h 27m"
desc="Two Spanish con men win a map to the legendary city of gold, but when they reach El Dorado, things don't go according to plan." />
</file>

*Image number - The amount of artwork that will be randomly selected, normally you only want to set it to 1.
*Year - The first line that can have text, you may put anything here, but it's intended for year and/or run time, it's right-aligned and does not wrap.
*Desc - The rest of the lines which can be used for short descriptions, up to 5 lines, left aligned. Linebreaks are done by adding spaces.

Save the XML with the item's filename:
*Title 02.mkv
*Title 02.xml

The XML must be saved to the "art folder" dir, and will not work on the same folder as the item. You absolutely need to have at least 1 image present otherwise the desc and year line won't appear.

When using an image or multiple images the naming changes slightly (only when using an xml.) The difference is adding "_01, _02" etc. to the file names, this is just to allow using multiple artwork but even if you use 1 you must add _01 to it.

If you use special characters and nothing is showing up then you must save the xml with utf-8 encoding. The "art folder" can still be used without an xml, just for artwork, but then it follows the original naming style. (without _01)

A PLX playlist can contain "xml=" to specify desc/year but art is still specified by the "thumb=" argument. The desc/year lines are always in the same area of the screen, so the artwork must have a reasonable vertical size so they don't overlap.

===Adding a tunein link to onlinemedia.xml===
Add tunein=http://feed.tunein.com/profiles/sNNNNNN/nowPlaying?&amp;partnerId=RadioTime after an 'image=' element. The image is used as a fallback. Where N is the ID, you can get this by going to the stream's tunein page and looking at the url.
<span style="white-space: pre-wrap"><nowiki><link name="Display name" addr="http://link to radio" image="http://link to default artwork" tunein="http://feed.tunein.com/profiles/sNNNNNN/nowPlaying?&amp;partnerId=RadioTime" /></nowiki></span>

The same can be applied to a PLX playlist. To enable art from Yggdrasil Radio or ANISON.FM an 'image=' link should be specified.

===Adding the interlaced flag to an MKV file===
Open mkvtoolnix-gui, select Header editor, open the video file, expand the video track, and select video interlaced flag, check add element, set it to 1. If the video is BFF, you can
specify video field order, with a value of 6, (though anything over 1 will use BFF in WiiMC.) Then Ctrl+S to save.

The interlaced flag is read as of version 2.0.0 of WiiMC. It works by syncing the video a specific way that allows CRTs and HDTV's deinterlacers to work correctly. This will only work if Enhanced Resolution is enabled in the global settings. These settings are available for DVD Video in Settings->DVD, it applies to physical DVDs and loading ifo or iso files from sd/usb.

===Changing themes===
Open the included meta.xml in a text editor and change the argument for 'theme=' to: gray(default), red, blue, green, random, dynamic, and blank.
* Dynamic will change theme every time you suspend a video, change modes, etc.
* Blank is the gray theme with no background image, used for testing quality of tiled rendering.

===Other minor changes===
*An option to enable the volume normalizer audio filter, set it to "2" to enable volnorm method 2.
*An option to always zoom videos to 4:3 ratio. (Only available if the Wii is set to 4:3 mode.)
*An option to enable deflicker, 480i and 576p/480p supported.
*An option to scale the screen width to 720.
*Support updating the Message Board playlog when launching from a channel.
*An option to switch to 240p mode. This setting can be found in the global section, under the name of Double-Strike.
*Added Screen Burn-in Reduction support. To enable go to Settings->Global, it will dim the screen if the screen saver is active after 4 seconds. This setting requires AHBPROT disabled.
*The option of using an alternate font for subtitles, your video file must include an attachment with the MIME type for fonts.
**The font must be named "monospace.ttf" alongside the regular subfont.ttf file.
**The purpose of this is to seamlessly switch between a monospaced font and a regular font, hence the filename.
*Backported BRSTM demuxer and THP fixes.
*Night Filter setting.
*M3U playlists can include a link for artwork.

===Features you can only enable by editing settings.xml===
Setting the debug option to '2' will enable an on-screen display for currently dropped frames. Increasing this number will add more info. (3=used memory, 4=fps, audio info)

Setting the shadow option to '0' will turn off all the shadows in ASS/SSA subtitles styles, it will also force outlines to '1.7'. Changing it to '2' will remove shadows and outlines for an "opaque box" background.

Setting bold will force the subtitles to use the bold style.
==Changelog==
'''v3.0-Revised 2023/02/08'''
*New content:
** Control more stuff with arguments, you can hide 240p and 576p modes that aren't compatible with your display.
** Entries in the online media XML can show artwork that's stored on the SD/USB, previously it would crash.
** If your file has multiple posters and you don't want it to randomly pick the cover, you can specify in the arguments the value.
** Artwork from online radio or from local storage can have a fade effect enabled, if it's too slow it may appear glitchy.
** Reworked the language support for the GUI, now only languages that have finished translations are included: English/Spanish/Korean
** Included setup for controlling the composite output's trap filter, currently it's always enabled.

Mandelbrot fractal zoomer for the Game Boy Advance. It is written in optimized ARM assembly and uses 64 bit multiplication for high precision.

It can zoom up to 10,000 times without losing precision. You can zoom the famous Mandelbrot fractal or a Julia fractal of your choice! Select between several different palettes, or create your own. A simple file system is built in which lets you save your favorite fractal images and/or palettes on the cartridge (SRAM).

==Features==
* Explore three different kinds of fractals:
** Mandelbrot set
** Julia set (c=z^2)
** Julia set (c=z^4)
* Change fractal settings (Julia sets) and watch the fractal "morph".
* Zooming with history, up to 160,000:1 scale without losing precision.
* Create your own palettes.
* Load and save your favourite fractals and palettes to SRAM.

==User guide==
When turning on the GBA, the most famous of all fractals, the Mandelbrot Set, will be loaded with a burning red-yellow palette.

The blue, bottom part of the screen is the status bar.
* Here you can see what kind of fractal is being shown, the zoom factor as well as in what mode you are in.
* Notice it reads "MANDELBROT SET", the current fractal.
* And also "Z 1:1" which is the zoom factor - no zoom at all that is.

===Basics===
To change the palette, bring up the menu:
* Select PALETTE - LOAD. A list of palettes will be shown.
* Select the (RED-GREEN) palette.
* You will immediately leave the menu system and return to the main screen with the fractal redrawn with the new palette.

To zoom:
* Decrease the size of the white box/selector so the scale is 4:1 (shown in statusbar).
* And choose an area you want to zoom (it's most interesting to explore the Mandelbrot Set near the "edge").
* Note that the time it takes to update the fractal depends on the zooming factor, but more importantly, where in the fractal you zoom.
* The maximum zoom factor is 160000:1.

To save/load a close-up of the fractal, bring up the menu:
* Select FILE - SAVE AS and then select any empty slot (the first one will do).
* Entering a file name is a bit cumbersome due to the lack of a keyboard.
* Note that an empty file name is not allowed.
* To load the file, select FILE - LOAD, press down two times and you should find your saved entry.
* All entries starting in paranthesis are presaved entries and cannot be overwritten.

To see what other fractals there are:
* Open FILE - LOAD the fractal "(DEF JULIA3)".
* Note that the top row of the status bar now reads "JULIA SET z^2+c".
* This is another type of fractal, a Julia Set, which is very similiar to the Mandelbrot Set in the construction (and yet so different).

===Julia Set===
A Julia Set is made up of a single constant (the c in the equation) which can be changed:
* In the loaded fractal it's 0.300+0.600i (a complex number).
* When you switch to change c mode, you can play around with it and watch the fractal change.
* If you managed to "destroy" the fractal by choosing a bad constant (most constants will not produce a nice looking fractal), reload the fractal (FILE - LOAD again), before continuing.

If you want to explore the edges, it might be interesting to check out the BLACK&WHITE palette (PALETTE - LOAD - (BLACK&WHITE)).

About custom palette:
* Choose PALETTE - CHANGE and you'll see a list of colors. The list contains at most 128 colors (not all of them visible at the same time).
* Notice the non-colored squares. These are the unused colors, which means that if some pixel in the fractal ought to have color 40 (which is uncolored in the black&white palette).
* Important: the less colors you use, the faster the fractal will be generated!! The more you zoom, the more colors will be used (if enough colors are defined that is).

Change palette:
* Pick a color on the scale, switch to RGB value and choose the color by adjusting those values.
* The colors between the colors you selected will be filled, fading from the leftmost color to the rightmost.
* If you had selected more than two colors, this will work as well, filling all the unused colors with the appropriate color.

If you created a palette that you like, you can save it the same way you saved the fractal (PALETTE - SAVE).

===Options===
The REFRESH option controls how the screen is updated. The default is interlaced, which creates the pretty cool "morphing" effect when changing the c constant in a Julia Set. If you don't like this, you can change it to "TOP-DOWN" which, of course, updates the screen in a more regular fashion. Note: this option is a global option.

FRACTAL controls which type of fractal to show. There are three different types, as explained in the features section above. We haven't yet checked out the Julia Set z^4=c fractal. There are less
nice-looking fractals of this type than z^2=c, and they also take slightly more time to generate. Check out the presaved fractal (DEF JULIA2) to see how they can look like.

Wii Sports Resort: Storm Island is a full in-depth modpack created by The Storm Island Team. This is a modpack that modifies and adds new features to Wii Sports Resort.

There are many, many features in this modpack, but the highlight features of this modpack are listed below.

'''Note:''' Always enable the "Storm Island" option and "Home Button Hotline Bling", they are required for this modpack to work properly.

==Features==
* Cycling No Heart Loss - This mode allows you to pedal through courses without losing any hearts.
* Bowling Speed Hack - When you throw the ball, it will move across the lane at high speeds. (If you throw the ball backwards, it will give you a practice shot.)
* Sentient Golf Ball - Whenever you hit the ball, it will have a random path. It makes for quite an amusing playthrough.
* Texture Randomizer - Every time you move around the map, the textures around you will change.
* Masters Ping Pong - A new challenge for Table Tennis. Every time that you hit the ball, it bounces higher and higher. (You will have to hit the ball softly while serving).
* No Flyover Timer - This disables the timer in Island Flyover.
* Wii Play Ping Pong - Every time you hit the ball in Table Tennis, it gets faster and faster.
* Dunk Only Basketball - Exactly what it sounds like. (A 3 point dunk is possible, you just have to time it correctly).
* 510 MPH Winds - A new challenge for Golf.
* Masters Showdown - Bored of regular showdown? This feature will add an amusing result to the defeat of an enemy.
* True Texture Randomizer - The textures in the game will be randomized whenever you press the B button.
* Negative Wind - You can alternate between regular wind and negative wind in golf by pressing the minus button.
* Tsunami on Command - In Power Cruising and Canoeing, pressing the B button will trigger a massive wave. (You have 14 seconds to press B again after activating the Tsunami before the game crashes).
* Cycling Tornado - When cycling, pressing the B button with this feature will send you flying into the air. If done right, you can skip over half the course.
* Colored Text - Colored Text. Truly Revolutionary.
* Debug Menu - This feature enables the hidden Debug Menu within the game (shown in the last image). It works for Power Cruising, Island Flyover, and Wakeboarding.
** This will only work if you disable everything except for the "Storm Island" feature and "Home Button Hotline Bling".

==Installation==
'''Note:''' This will not work on PAL Wii U console (NTSC - America; PAL - Europe).

===Riivolution patch===
Installing the patch:
* Download the 7z mod file and unzip it.
* You should see 3 folders. they should be named "apps", "riivolution", and "WSR".
* Move all 3 of these folders to the root of your SD Card.

Loading the game:
* Go to the Wii Menu.
* Put your SD Card into your Wii.
* You should see The [[Homebrew Channel Wii|Homebrew Channel]]. Launch it.
* When it loads you should see an app named "riivolution" Launch it.
* Insert your Wii Sports Resort Disc, Then wait about 20 seconds for [[Riivolution Wii|Riivolution]] to load.
* Then at the right side of the screen you should see an option that says "Install". Select it then exit the app.
* You should see the riivolution channel installed on your Wii menu. Launch it.
* You are now ready to play Wii Sports Resort: Storm Island.

===Troubleshooting===
You get sent to the Wii Menu after select "Launch" from Riivolution:
*This happens because Storm Island does not load the Wii Motion Plus Menu.
*If you don't have savedata (It only detects if you have watched the videos or not) then this problem will occur.
*All you have to do to fix this is playing the game from the disc channel and then play through the opening skydiving intro, which creates savedata after you finished.

Archery Crashes/Freezes the game:
*Turn off The Custom Swordplay Showdown levels and the "Lightsabers" Option from the Bonus Content option.
*They seem to conflict with archery somehow.

==User guide==
=== Home Button Hotline Bling ===
*This is a feature that powers a large majority of the features in this modpack.
*Always enable it. Set it to &quot;HotlineBling&quot;.

=== Golf ===
Play on the golf courses from Wii Sports Club. This feature took over 3 months to port every course and get them working in game.

* Jesus Mode - This allows you to go into areas that are normally out of bounds. (ie: The river of Classic Hole 6).
* Reverse OOB - With this mode, you will only be able to golf in the out of bounds areas. You will have to try the best you can to make it to the green.
* Out of this World - A new set of background elements for every course. This feature alone took almost 2 weeks to make.
* Give Up Faster - This could be used to quickly speed through a game.
* Blind Golf - The further you get to hole 18, the harder the courses are to complete.
* One Shot Golf - This makes golf a lot more challenging, you will have to swing as hard as you can, because the ball will not bounce once it touches the ground.
* N64 - Somehow, the tree animation in this mode looks a bit more realistic than the actual one used in the game.
* Wii Sports Club - This is probably the most anticipated feature of this entire modpack. This was created with fellow modder, boz.

The following features will not work unless Enhancements and The Swordplay Showdown Randomizer are disabled:
* Quest Of Clubs - The more you hit the ball, the less clubs you are able to use.
* Gliderball - After hitting the ball, pressing minus allows the ball to move forward without losing it's initial momentum. If done correctly, you can get a hole in one on hole 18.
* Tannenbaum's Quest - Pressing minus after hitting the ball and deactivating it a second later will cause it to move to a random location, depending on how quickly you use it, it can help you progress further across the course.

===Bonus content===
*ImpossiPong - In this mode, Cole becomes a very skilled player, even better than Lucia! You have to play it yourself to get the full experience.
*Enhanced Basketball - This extends the maximum shooting range all the way up to the half court line (Try this with Dunk Only Mode).

===Skydiving+Basketball+PNG===
*This feature adds a background theme to Skydiving, Basketball, and Table Tennis.

===Unused stages===
Unused Archery Stages:
*This feature allows you to play on the unused archery stages left in the game.
*(Not all of them work due to their impossible locations placed back when the beta island was being used for the game.)
*This feature can be loaded with the &quot;Things To Do In Storm Island&quot; feature.

Unused Cycling Stages:
*This feature loads the 2 unused cycling stages left in the game. (Stage 1 can't be completed unless you use Cycling Tornado Mode).
*This feature can be loaded with the &quot;Things To Do In Storm Island&quot; feature.

===Swordplay showdown===
Custom Stages:
*The &quot;Things To Do In Storm Island&quot; feature has 8 custom showdown level packs.
*3 of them take place on different maps (for more info on that, read the section under this).
*The 5th level pack (Swordplay Showdown Ultimate) has every single CPU set to the highest possible difficulty, even harder than Matt.

Island Maps:
*The latest update brings 3 new maps to Swordplay Showdown. They can be chosen with the &quot;Things To Do In Storm Island&quot; feature. The maps are the following:
** The Mysterious Upside Down Pyramid (WiiPlayPyramid) - A map from the author's upcoming project &quot;Matt: A Wii Sports Story&quot;. It is the full location and environment of the Fishing Game from Wii Play.
** Lake Moderato - Another map from my upcoming project, It's a valley with a golden lake in the center.
** Paper Platform - It was created to test bump maps. This pack is actually slightly more difficult than &quot;Swordplay Showdown Ultimate&quot; because of a quicker attack time for certain enemies.
* These maps were designed only for Swordplay Showdown. They will not work correctly if played in any other game.

Randomizer:
* Tired of the same exact sequence of enemies and difficulty in Swordplay Showdown? Then this is a perfect feature to use.
*Every time you restart the game, the enemy armor type, heart amount, and difficulty gets randomized. Making every level different. This feature has 3 different settings, make sure to try them out.
* This feature will only work if you:
** Disable "Enhancement" and any of the indicated Golf options.
** Enable the "Storm Island" option and "Home Button Hotline Bling".
'''Wii Sports Resort : Storm Island 1.0 Release ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2igmb7PGYo JimmyKazakhstan])'''<br>
<youtube>J2igmb7PGYo</youtube>

==Known issues==
Golf related:
* To put it simply, the game only allocates a certain amount of memory for golf, a few of the courses come extremely close to exceeding that amount. So we were not able to port over every single tree that exists in the WSC version of the courses
* &quot;Heavy Rough&quot; or any collision type similar to it does not exist in Wii Sports Resort, so it was changed to a regular rough.
* Due to how the intro cameras work, we were not able to recreate the original course intros from Wii Sports Club.
* The team tried literally everything to fix the lag on Hole 7, sadly nothing can be done without breaking the collision.
* The map display dimensions are hardcoded, so the position of hole 8's map couldn't be changed.

==Changelog==
'''V9.0'''
* Misc:
** BG music - this will add a background theme to basketball, skydiving, and ping pong.
** Posteffect updates - a few updates to the posteffect enviorment files.
* Enhancements:
** Debug menu - this will enable the debug menu in the game. It works for power crusing, island flyover, and wakeboarding.
** This will only work if you enable the storm island feature, the home button hotline bling feature and disable everything else.
* Golf (Wii Sports Club):
** This is probably the most (and only) highly anticipated feature! I worked on this with fellow modder boz. This mode allows you to play on the golf courses from wii sports club!
* Swordplay Showdown (swordplay showdown randomizer):
**In order for this feature to not be yet another long period of time I've spent making something that was completely forgotten about, (like in f3 2021) I've decided to include it in this modpack.
**This feature randomizes the levels in swordplay showdown. Each time you pause the game and hit "Restart" the game will randomize the cpu difficulty level and armor type.
**There are 3 different settings for this feature. Each one changes a certain aspect of the game.
*The Mysterious Upside Down Pyramid:
**(This was specifically for use in swordplay showdown only. This will not work properly in any of the other games.)
**This feaure allows you to play swordplay showdown on the "Extended map" of the wii play fishing lake. Ever wondered what was behind the lake in wii play fishing? No....? Well I made a map that gives an answer to that question anyway! If the "Demo video" I'm making preforms well on the channel, I'll be including this map in matt: a wii sports story.
** You can enable this by selecting the "Wiiplaypyramid" option within the "Things to do in storm island" feature.
*** This will not work correctly unless you enable the storm island option and the "Home button hotline bling" option.
*** The showdown randomizer is also a good feature to enable along with this.
*Lake Moderato:
**(This was specifically for use in swordplay showdown only. This will not work properly in any of the other games.)
**This feaure allows you to play swordplay showdown on a map from the upcoming 3rd installment of my "Wonderful world within wii sports" series.
** You can enable this by selecting the "Lake moderato" option within the "Things to do in storm island" feature.
*** This will not work correctly unless you enable the storm island option and the "Home button hotline bling" option.
*** The showdown randomizer is also a good feature to enable along with this.
*Play Against Your Own Miis:
**This feature was supposed to replace the cpu mii characters with your own. However, it doesn't work due to the miis having a checksum at the end of their data. I can't manage to calculate it with code. It's a shame since the rest of the code worked perfectly.
**If by nearly impossible means, this generates some sort of interest, I might be able to add it in later on, but don't count on it.

This is a hybrid application which will require Windows. The tool itself is for Windows and will output a .GBA file with pictures, which can be viewed on real hardware.

==Installation==
To install the program, simply run the executable in the archive.

This also installs an uninstaller (which actually uninstalls the entire project).

==User guide==
By generating the Rom, the images are reduced so that the size corresponds to the GBA resolution (240x160), respecting the ratio.

The images are then compressed (lossless, it's LZ).

Once the Rom is generated, just flash it or watch it in an emulator.

==Controls==
'''GBA:'''

Select - Open the explorer

D-Pad/R/L - Scroll (explorer)

A/Start - Confirm (explorer)

A - Show/Hide information of the image

L/R - Switch from one image to another

==Changelog==
'''0.03'''
* Added of a filter to remove the aliasing effect linked to the reduction in size of photos.

'''V0.02'''
* The generated ROM extension is no longer .bin but .gba.
* Addition of a dynamic link to Player Advance.
* Added list management (new, open, save, recent list). A list is all the photos, their order and the settings for each of them.
* The explorer function has been added to the GBA part.
